Ok folks, get ready for another fun filled weekend at Evil Empire Comics...

In the house this weekend Saturday October 18, 2025 from 12pm to 5pm is horror Author & Writer Cory Andrews. Some of you may have met Cory during this year's Horror Bizarre Market.

Cory is famously known for his works in Western Horror themed novels. He will be here signing autographs for fans and selling some of his awesome books. He will also be talking all things horror & publishing.

Below is a brief synopsis of his work; please come out and support our independent creators who keep the comic & horror industry going!!!

Cory has published two gory collections of inter-connected western horror tales set in the Buzzard Hill universe and the splatterpunk collection Gory Violent Fun For All. He’s appeared in two anthologies for the award-winning indie publisher HellBound Books, Tumble Bleed: Texas Author Con’s Western Horror Stories, and the October 2025 issue of Violent Rose Magazine. Cory will be giving a FREE chapbook of Flea Market Flesh Eaters - a bloody homage to classic zombie films and the Q-Mart - to anyone who purchases a copy of his books.

Inspired by Red Dead Redemption, Tales From the Crypt comics, and the works of Joe R. Lansdale (Jonah Hex: Two-Gun Mojo, Dead in the West, Bubba Ho-Tep.), Cory Andrews has independently published two collections of Western Horror short stories set in his universe of Buzzard Hill, Arizona. His gritty western tales are fast-paced, bloody, and full of nefarious gunslingers and the supernatural. He wrote the story “Like A Bridge Over Bloody Waters” for the 2025 Texas Author Con Western Horror Anthology Tumble BLEED.
